Healthy & Homemade York Peppermint Patties

Okay so this recipe is so ridiculously delicious and amazing that it is too good to be true, but it is. First, let me explain how it is healthy before I go on. Check out the ingredients:

  • Cacao: Also known as chocolate, a fruit that buds off of a tree. Chocolate is a super food. Cacao contains the most antioxidants in the world. More antioxidants than Acai, Goji berries, green tea, and red wine combined! It has three major minerals that we all desperately need to heal our bodies. Those minerals are Iron, magnesium, and chromium. Cacao is also a source of serotonin and makes you feel good naturally! Cacao is also a natural edible sunblock! 
  • Extra Virgin Cold-Pressed Coconut Oil: Coconut oil is a Superfood! It contains healthy fats (omegas!) that help our cells. These fats allow us to create lean and tone muscles. Coconut oil is also a remedy for Alzheimer's, memory loss, diabetics, and thyroid issues. Coconut helps provide sustainable energy to build on. 
  • Peppermint: Peppermint is known for it's many magical properties. It helps dispel headaches, indigestion,  respiratory issues, stress, and pain. Peppermint is also known for hair, skin, and nail purposes. Peppermints also help stimulate the mind in a positive procedure. Peppermint contains minerals like Iron, Calcium, Copper, Magnesium, and Potassium. Also, omega 3 fatty acids and vitamin A and C!
  • Cashews: Cashews prevent cancer! Due to it's proanthocyanidins content. They contain the same healthy fats that olive oil contains. Cashews are great for hair and skin due to its luscious amount of the mineral copper. Cashews are a good fat that keep you full and fueled. Which results in weight loss! Cashews are good for your bones! Cashews contain high amounts of the mineral magnesium which promotes strong healthy bones! They help break down the bad calcium in the body. 
  • Maple Syrup/Agave: Agave contains the properties anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial! It also owns one of the lowest glycemic indexes compared to other sweeteners. It contains many essential minerals too. Maple Syrup  is filled with antioxidants and is an anti-inflammatory! Maple syrup also contains essential minerals like calcium, iron, and zinc. It also helps recover muscles! Yum!
